Winter camping can be a lot of fun if you have the right camping gear! Not only do you need good quality sleeping bags, but you also need good insulation from the ground to stay warm.
Nothing will rob your body heat faster than the cold ground or even snow under your sleeping bag. If you have no space limitations use a camping cot to lift yourself off the ground. If you are backpacking or need to keep it light there are many insulated camping pads on the market, which will work well to keep you warm. Use a four-season sleeping bag with a temperature rating similar to what you expect to be in and you will be warm and cozy all night. by: SummitCampingGear
