My favorite piece of camping gear is my Gerber Multitool! I thought they were big and clumsy looking at first, but once one was purchased for me as a gift I feel in love with it. All the years I have camped without a Gerber tool I look back now and wonder how I got by without it.

Of course for me the knife is the most used function, but the pliers themselves follow that closely. I carry the handy camping tool with me around camp, on hikes, even while rock climbing and I have to confess many times the handy tool has gotten me out of a jam.

They make great gifts for an avid camper, or even yourself.
