Camping Dan's Outdoor Tips Posting Page

It is the time of year when camping in the desert southwest is at its absolute best! The daytime temperature is perfect while the nighttime temperature is not too cool to sleep comfortably.
When camping in the desert make sure you take along plenty of water, as even in the spring finding water sources is very tough. There are many Coleman coolers just for beverages, and lots of water bottle varieties on the market to help you carry water on these trips. I also recommend you ensure you have at least a small simple first aid kit in your camping gear. It is easy to get cactus spines in feet in hands while in the southwest, and a camping first aid kit is essential to get the those pesky stickers out. by: SummitCampingGear
