It is commonly misunderstood that sleeping bags are supposed to make you comfortable when you are sleeping on the ground on your camping trips. To some degree this is true, sleeping bags do keep you comfortably warm but for protection against the ground you will need a sleeping pad. These pads add extra cushion between you and the ground to essentially create a mattress for you wherever you may find yourself in the outdoors. Make your sleeping bag much more comfortable with a quality self-inflating camping pad that is perfect for general camping or even backpacking.
