Many tents are still in perfect condition when they are retired from use, and this is many times do only to zipper failure as opposed to the tent no longer keeping the user dry. Of course there are some things you can do to help that zipper last longer so you can get several more years out of that camping tent. Simply by making an effort to make your zipper stays clean on the tent will go a long way to helping it work smoothly for longer. Grime and dirt can cause the teeth on the slider to function incorrectly, simply keep them clean with a mild soap or a special zipper care solution and your tent will last many more camping seasons.
