For years I always folded my tent the exact same way, it is the way I knew it would fit into the stuff sack if folded like this. Little did I know that I was actually creating creases in my tent, which created weak points in the shell and rain fly. For the best care of your camping tents when putting them away after each use you should put them away differently each time you are done using them to avoid creating these creases. It will prolong the life of your tent and ensure you have many years of fun camping out of it.
