For years many backpackers have tolerated very bright colors in their camping tents and sleeping bags because that is what they manufacturers produced. But many of them did not like how their small quaint little home away from home stuck out in the wilderness like a sore thumb. Some of the backpacking gear companies listened and now you can get lightweight sleeping bags and Coleman tents that come in Earth tones to better blend in with the backcountry. These tents and bags are lightweight and everything a backpacker wants in their gear including natural hued so that they can blend in and enjoy their time in the wilderness.
