When you are camping in the late fall and winter it can be a challenge if you are not properly prepared with the right gear to make your trip a success. Most experienced campers know to bring a warmer sleeping bag and have the proper tent for the cooler temperatures, but many neglect to consider the food they eat. In cooler temps your body needs more fuel and hot food and drinks to help it stoke its internal furnace so it can keep you warm despite the weather. Having a Camp Chef stove and plenty of good food as well as tea and hot cocoa to drink will help you stay much warmer than if you drink only water and consume cold meals.
