Sleeping bags can be expensive and if you camp in the cooler temperatures your summer bag may just not be warm enough for you for comfortable sleeping. But you do not have to buy a whole new sleeping bag for those cooler temps just so you can sleep warm enough. There are sleeping bag liners, which will add warmth but will not mean buying another piece of camping gear. These liners are used as a second sleeping bag inside of your bag and will increase the temperature rating by several degrees so you can sleep warmer when it is colder outside.
