Many first time campers are confused about camping stoves and the options that are available for fueling them at your camp. Some campers will tell you that propane stoves are better while others will lean toward those that use white gas. Those that prefer propane prefer the fact it is more like cooking on a gas stove at home and that the propane bottles are easy to handle. While those that prefer gas camping stoves love that they create more heat and no odor, which they feel, makes their camp food so much better. Either camp stove you end up choosing will be a excellent choice as both types can handle the average camp cooking needs.
