For many the family camping tent is an expensive part of their camping gear they hope they will be able to use for several seasons. Of course the weakest part of any tent is the floor though not by design. Many such as Coleman tents have extra tough bottoms but that still does not totally protect them from sharp rocks and sticks that a user may set them up on. For a little extra protection for your tent from these hazards a tent footprint is a great way to help protect the bottom of your tent from rips and tears.
