Many campers debate on whether they should use a camping cot or an air mattress when they go camping. Both of these options can help you get a great night sleep outdoors but of course this decision will be totally based on your personal preference. A camping cot will get you off the ground, which is great for cooler temperatures, and they have more of a bed type of feel. While a Coleman air mattress is a much softer surface but some feel that it is too soft. A cot does not require inflation and will not let you down in the event of a hole. While a camping air mattress gives you more room to sleep in. Either choice will be a great alternative to giving you a more comfortable night outdoors.
