Camping Dan's Outdoor Tips Posting Page
Thursday, February 26, 2009
If you live in the desert southwest early to mid spring is some of the best times to head out camping with your family. The day time temperatures are just right while the night time temps do not get too terrible cold. Of course setting up a tent on the rock and sand can be a little difficult though. Getting stacks into the rock is impossible and if you do manage to get them into the sand they will shift and your tent will end up saggy. These are one of the times a freestanding Coleman camping tent is ideal since the stacks do not support the tent but rather the poles do.
